Volunteer at commencement 2025

Celebrate the graduating Class of 2025 by volunteering to help students, their families and guests during commencement events. Commencement volunteers are critical to ensuring this campus tradition is enjoyable, celebratory and smooth for everyone visiting campus.

The Commencement Office is looking for dependable Case Western Reserve University students, faculty, and/or staff to help us make commencement 2025 a special and memorable day for our graduates. Volunteers are needed to assist with weekend ceremonies at the Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center Saturday, May 17, and Sunday, May 18. Polo T-shirts and lunch will be provided for all volunteers on both days.

In addition, the Commencement Office will cover the cost of an on-campus housing extension from Thursday, May 8, to Monday, May 19, for all student volunteers who complete their volunteer assignment. If you need an extension, enter your building, room number and Case ID (abc123) on the registration form by April 28. Please do not contact the Offices of Housing and Residence Life directly, as doing so may result in charges applied to your account.

There will be a mandatory meeting for volunteers Thursday, May 16, at Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center to go over processes.

Register to be a volunteer.
