Kelvin Smith Library is collaborating with Center for International Affairs to sponsor a monthly series titled “Voices from Around the Globe.” This event will take place in Kelvin Smith Library, Room LL06, Sept. 25 from 4 to 5 p.m.
Faculty, students, staff, alumni and invited community guests from diverse backgrounds will give presentations about their country, hometown and culture.
These dialogues will allow attendees to view various cultures from multiple perspectives and enrich their self-awareness to foster a diverse and inclusive campus.
The first speaker in this series is Marel Corredor-Hyland, Kelvin Smith Library’s diversity, campus partners and HR development team leader. She will talk about her native Colombia.
