Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to attend the Virtual Ventures in Primary Care Career Fair April 5–16. This event features pre-recorded interviews with nurses from MetroHealth Medical Center, University Hospitals (including women’s health and pediatrics), Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center and Cleveland Clinic, and representatives for Neighborhood Family Practice and Interprofessional Education at Case Western Reserve University. It is open to all health care student professionals and faculty.
Participants will gain access to the Virtual Ventures in Primary Care Canvas site, where they’ll be able to watch video interviews conducted by Enhancing Nurse Roles in Community Health (ENRICH) Fellows, who are junior and senior nursing students. The ENRICH fellows produced narrated presentations with additional details regarding the primary care site, the fellows’ experiences in the fellowship, and guidance related to preparing for a career in primary care. Participants also have the opportunity to win one of 20 Amazon gift cards by taking part in the Fun Fact Scavenger Hunt through the Virtual Ventures Canvas site.
The Canvas site will automatically be available to BSN, MN, MSN and DNP nursing students on the Canvas portal. Other interested students and faculty members who wish to attend should email RNPrimaryCareIntegration@case.edu with their name and school/program (e.g. medicine, dental, social work, psychology) to register.
