Virtual Sciencepalooza! 2020

Interested in reaching out to high school students? Come present your research or a STEM demo at Sciencepalooza! this year. The Science and Human Rights Coalition will host the virtual event Tuesday, Nov. 10, from 3 to 6 p.m.

Sciencepalooza! is a reverse science fair geared toward high school students and their parents as a way to expose students to the vast diversity of scientific disciplines and build broad public support for federally funded research.

Sciencepalooza! will operate virtually on Zoom; each “booth” will be a separate Zoom meeting hosted by each of the presenters. There will be a main room for general Q&A and tech help, and links will be shared in the chat to promote each of the booths. The students will be given a PDF file of all of the presenter links/”booths” beforehand.

As for presentations/demos/posters, it is recommended that each round of presenting/talking last from 10 to 15 minutes. It also is suggested that one or more individuals present.

Email Kathryn Wilcox at kgw10@case.edu with any questions and sign up online to be a presenter.
