Join the Case Western Reserve University Office of Energy & Sustainability for a summer Virtual Green Bag Lunch about composting at home Wednesday, June 24, from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom.
There are many options for composting at home and June is a great time to start your own home compost operation to reduce your environmental footprint.
During this virtual event, the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District’s education specialist, the Rust Belt Riders co-founder, and a CWRU staff member with a home compost bin will each give short presentations. The group will discuss different types of compost bins, share information on local compost drop-off options for those who can’t compost at home, and answer questions on composting.
Current composters are also welcome to join the conversation.
Registered participants will be emailed a Zoom link the day before the event. Register for the event through Eventbrite.
