Virtual commencement ceremony

Case Western Reserve University will host a virtual commencement ceremony Sunday, May 17, the originally scheduled date for the event.

The virtual convocation ceremony will consist of video messages from university leaders and commencement speakers, along with official degree conferral. School diploma ceremonies will include additional congratulatory messages and personalized recognition slides for graduates. 

The virtual ceremonies will be posted on the commencement website for viewing beginning at 9 a.m. Sunday, May 17.

Individuals are encouraged to use the commencement hashtag: CWRUGrad2020.

Regalia (cap and gown) is not required for the May 17 virtual ceremonies, but can still be purchased if desired. The purchase deadline has been extended until Aug. 31. Orders can be placed online directly with the vendor, Oak Hall.
