Sue Workman was elected to the EDUCAUSE board as of Sept. 25. At Case Western Reserve University, she serves as CIO and vice president of University Technology.
One of her most notable achievements in these positions was facilitating the collaboration of the university and Cleveland Clinic with Microsoft to use HoloLens augmented reality technology in higher education for the first time. Workman’s current initiative is centralizing university IT services.
With a decade of experience in private sector technology positions and more than 25 years afterward working in higher education, Workman’s extensive credentials fit well within EDUCAUSE’s goal of advancing IT higher education.
