Colleges Go Test-Optional After SAT, ACT Are Called Off
National Public Radio (NPR): Case Western Reserve University is cited as one of the first institutions of higher learning to go test-optional for student applications, following global disruptions caused by the coronavirus. Rick Bischoff, vice president for enrollment management, said the university discussed the decision as one that could promote equity: “Understanding how much turmoil this is injecting into the process, it’s just so clearly, in our view, the right thing to do.”
