Vice President for Research and Technology Management Suzanne Rivera won the 2018 Julia Jacobsen Distinguished Service Award from the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA).
“This honor is especially meaningful because it comes from my trusted and valued peers in university research administration,” said Rivera, also an assistant professor of bioethics and pediatrics. “The previous winners are all role models and mentors for me. It’s truly touching.”
NCURA aims to advance research administration by providing its more than 7,000 members with professional development opportunities. Rivera has been a member since 2002, holding several leadership positions during that time.
She will be honored at NCURA’s annual meeting in Washington, D.C., Aug. 5-8.
