Newman Catholic Campus Ministry will host a Valentine’s Day and pre-Mardi Gras Fair Trade Sale beginning today (Feb. 10).
Purchase coffee, tea, chocolate and handmade jewelry and purses from Mexico and Central America. All items are certified Fair Trade, which means that the small growers and individual artisans received a living wage.
The sale will be held during the following hours in the Nord Hall atrium:
- Today (Feb. 10) from 2 to 4:30 p.m.;
- Monday, Feb. 13, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and
- Wednesday, Feb. 15, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Proceeds will benefit Catholic Relief Services and the service projects of the Newman Catholic Student Association.
