Local VA researcher honored for prosthetic work with ‘Star Wars’ touch
The Plain Dealer: Paul Marasco, a principal investigator at the Advanced Platform Technology Center of Excellence at the Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center, discussed his work in restoring a sense of feeling to amputees through prosthetics. Marasco, who is affiliated with the CWRU Department of Biomedical Engineering, will receive the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers this month.
