The Uptown Saturday Nights series continues Saturday, Sept. 3, with a variety of musical artists who will celebrate the roots of American music with performances at locations around Uptown.
The series features local musicians at eight locations on seven consecutive Saturdays in University Circle’s Uptown district. Various genres are performed, including blues, jazz, gospel, traditional country, folk, Americana, bluegrass and zydeco.
The Sept. 3 schedule is:
- ABC Uptown: Blues Devils at 7 p.m.
- Coquette Patisserie: Ray Flannigan at 7 p.m.
- Roots Garden: By Request Quartet at 7 p.m.
- Trentina: Mark Freeman Duo at 7 p.m.
- Barking Spider: Saul Glennon at 8 p.m., and Bill Lestock at 10 p.m.
- Corner Alley at Uptown: Ruthie and Co., 8pm
- Ninja City: DJ at 8 p.m.
- Happy Dog at the Euclid Tavern: Kamal Abdul-Alim & The Real Deal Band at 9 p.m.
