The Uptown Saturday Nights series continues Saturday, Sept. 24, with a variety of musical artists who will celebrate the roots of American music with performances at locations around Uptown.
The series features local musicians at eight locations on seven consecutive Saturdays in University Circle’s Uptown district. Various genres are performed, including blues, jazz, gospel, traditional country, folk, Americana, bluegrass and zydeco.
The Sept. 24 schedule is:
- ABC Uptown: Zydeco Kings at 7 p.m.
- Coquette Patisserie: Sassy Pants at 7 p.m.
- Roots Garden: Bog Trotters at 7 p.m.
- Trentina: Will Cheshier at 7 p.m.
- Corner Alley at Uptown: Mister Haney Appalachian Stringband Fun at 8 p.m.
- Happy Dog at the Euclid Tavern: The Safeties at 9 p.m., The Nico Missle at 10 p.m. and Predrag Delibasic & Zerodent, at 11 p.m.
- Ninja City: DJ ESO at 10 p.m.
