Updates to Minitab titles available in [U]Tech Software Center

The University Technology ([U]Tech) Software Center has three new updates related to Minitab. Each of these titles is available to all Case Western Reserve University students, faculty and staff at no additional cost.

To install any of the software:

  1. Visit the Software Center website and click “I Agree” to accept the end-user license agreement.
  2. Find the appropriate title in the software title list and click on the preferred operating system icon.
  3. Follow the instructions on the following page.

[U]Tech recommends removing any previous versions before installing the upgrade.

Minitab

Minitab has been upgraded to version 19 (title in software list: “Minitab 19”) with a new annual license expiring July 31, 2020.

Minitab allows users to analyze data with the leading statistical software used for quality improvement worldwide. Get more information on upgrade features and changes for Minitab.

Minitab Express

Minitab Express has been upgraded to version 1.5.3 (title in software list: “Minitab Express 1.5.3”) with a new annual license expiring July 31, 2020.

Minitab Express helps users ease into their introduction to statistics with a user-friendly interface that makes data analysis simple.

Companion by Minitab

Companion by Minitab has been upgraded to version 5.3 (title in software list: “Companion by Minitab 5.3”) with a new annual license expiring July 31, 2020.

Minitab’s application for process and continuous improvement, Companion by Minitab, gives users all the tools needed to organize an entire project and execute every step. Built-in “Roadmaps” help quickly outline an approach, and data entered in one tool is shared throughout the project for faster and more accurate work. Tool customization and new template creation round out the system for even greater efficiency.
