Updated versions of MATLAB, ChemOffice Pro available in Software Center

MATLAB has been upgraded to version 2019a, and ChemOffice Pro to version 18.1, in the University Technology ([U]Tech) Software Center.

About MATLAB

MATLAB has been upgraded to version 2019a for the faculty/staff/labs concurrent use title (“Matlab 2019a”) and for students (“Matlab 2019a TSH for Students”), available at no additional cost for Case Western Reserve University users.

MATLAB combines a desktop environment tuned for iterative analysis and design processes with a programming language that expresses matrix and array mathematics directly. Get information about upgrade features and changes for MATLAB.

About ChemOffice Pro

ChemOffice Professional has been upgraded to version 18.1, available at no additional cost to CWRU students, faculty and staff.

To download the updated versions:

  1. Visit the Software Center website and click “I Agree” to accept the end-user license agreement.
  2. Find “ChemOffice Professional 18.1,” “Matlab R2019a” or “Matlab 2019a TSH for Students” in the software title list and click on an operating system; Windows and Mac are available for both MATLAB and ChemOffice Pro, and Linux is also available for MATLAB.
  3. Follow the instructions on the following page.
  4. [U]Tech recommends removing any previous versions before installing the upgrade.
