Updated location for “Speaking of Privacy” HIPAA session on March 19

The University Compliance Office continues its monthly privacy-related information sessions for Case Western Reserve University employees on Thursday, March 19. This session is from 10 to 11 a.m. in Crawford Hall, Room 720. Seating is limited and is first come, first seated.

Employees will get tips on the proper management of health information in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

The sessions will continue on the third Thursday of every month, with topics rotating between HIPAA, FERPA (Family Education Records and Privacy Act), and General Privacy Management in Higher Education. After the session on March 19, the next HIPAA session will take place June 18 in the Toepfer Room of Adelbert Hall.
