Update on unplanned outages with Student Information System

The Student Information System (SIS) has experienced several issues resulting in unplanned outages since the beginning for the semester. University Technology ([U]Tech) is committed to being transparent during these situations.

The three events were all centered on the SIS Mobile extended usage application and a bug was detected in the SIS system [U]Tech procures from the vendor.

[U]Tech is working diligently to evaluate any problems and develop speedy and consistent solutions as soon as possible.

The [U]Tech team is committed to communicating technology issues that may occur, meeting the needs of the CWRU community and providing uninterrupted access to SIS services.
