Symantec issued an advisory of multiple security vulnerabilities across various product lines including Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) client software, the anti-virus software required for all Case Western Reserve faculty and staff.
In response, CWRU released the updated Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.6 MP5 anti-virus in the Software Center for Windows and Linux.
Install this updated SEP version as soon as possible.
Mac OS X users with a 12.1 version of SEP installed should run LiveUpdate to update to 12.1.6 MP4 (there is no MP5 for Mac).
