Update Identity Finder on all computers to ensure data security

Information Technology Services (ITS) offers Identity Finder version 5.0.1 for Macintosh on the Software Center. Identity Finder is software that will search your machine for sensitive/restricted data, and prompt you to secure or destroy it. By provost mandate, it must be installed and run on all university-owned machines. It is available on the Software Center.

This is a required download for faculty and staff using Macintosh computers. Users of Windows computers should enable automatic updates to their existing version of Identity Finder using these directions for all future versions of Identity Finder.
