On March 26, Mark R. Chassin, president and CEO of The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations will discuss “What’s Wrong with Healthcare and How to Fix It.”
As president and CEO of the commission, Chassin oversees the activities of the nation’s predominant standards setting and accrediting body in health care. Joint Commission accreditation and certification is recognized worldwide for more than 18,000 organizations as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to quality improvement and to meeting state-of-the-art performance standards.
The lecture, presented by the Weatherhead Health System Management and Bioscience Club, will take place from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in Peter B. Lewis Building 258.
