Prominent faculty members from the School of Law and Weatherhead School of Management will present “Unraveling the Affordable Care Act” Tuesday, April 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center, Ballroom A.
About the lecture
With 2,700 original pages—and over 20,000 more pages of regulations— the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is one of the most complex pieces of legislation ever written. Faculty members will discuss current debates regarding the ACA and the future of health care.
The speakers will be:
- Jessica Berg, dean of the School of Law, the Tom J.E. and Bette Lou Walker Professor of Law, and professor of bioethics and public health; and
- J. B. Silvers, the John R. Mannix Medical Mutual of Ohio Professor of Health Care Finance and professor of banking and finance.
The panel will immediately be followed by a reception.
