University organizations host first Eid-ul-Fitr celebration Sept. 1

The Hallinan Project for Peace and Social Justice, the Share the Vision committee and the Muslim Student Association will host the university’s first Eid-ul-Fitr celebration, ending the holy month of Ramadan. The feast will take place at 6 p.m. Sept. 1 in Hovorka Atrium at the Pytte Science Center and is free and open to all faculty, staff and students.

The menu will include Mansaf, Spanikopita, tabbouleh, baba ganouj, baklava and more. All meat is halal.
