Plain Dealer: High school senior Nichelle Ruffin wins the first scholarship awarded by the Joan C. Edwards Charitable Foundation’s Health Professions Pipeline program. The scholarship covers her undergraduate education at Case Western Reserve and four years of medical school. “It is still surreal,” she says. “I am definitely grateful.”
