University increases minimum wage to $16/hour

President Eric W. Kaler is pleased to announce that effective today, Monday, July 1, the Case Western Reserve University minimum wage will increase from $15 to $16 per hour for covered university employees. 

By comparison, the Ohio minimum wage is $10.45/hour, and the federal minimum wage is $7.45/hour. The university previously increased its minimum wage on July 1, 2021.
