University Farm Summer Student Worker Opportunities

Hey, CWRU students! Spend your summer enjoying the outdoors at CWRU’s own 400-acre property in the country – the University Farm. We’re looking for several enthusiastic, self-motivated team members to join our staff as Farm Food Program, Grounds Maintenance, and Administration/Special Events workers. Located 30 minutes east of the main campus, the University Farm hosts several event facilities and historical buildings, miles of trails, a greenhouse and a 2-acre vegetable garden.

Farm Food Program workers assist the Farm staff with sowing seeds, planting, and harvesting vegetables while Facilities and Grounds Maintenance workers keep the property looking great. The Administrative/Special Events Assistant is a frontline customer service representative, helping with clerical duties and event management. No experience is necessary, and training will be provided for all positions.

Applicants must be a current CWRU student and available to work 20 – 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday morning hours to staff our bi-weekly Farm Stand. The Administrative position’s schedule may vary, up to 20 hours per week, based on event bookings.

Complete job descriptions and application directions can be found on the Farm’s website.

Employment begins the week of May 22. Applications are accepted until positions are filled.
