The Barnes and Noble university bookstore will host Charles Ramsey, author of “Dead Giveaway: The Rescue, Hamburgers, White Folks, and Instant Celebrity,” Saturday, June 21, from noon to 2 p.m.
Ramsey was in the wrong place at the right time when he answered a young woman’s cry for help, leading to the astonishing rescue of three young women—Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus, and Michelle Knight—who had been missing for a decade.
