Universal Health Aid of Cleveland(UHA Cleveland) invites students to an in-person spring recruitment event Tuesday, March 22, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Ballroom A of the Tinkham Veale University Center.
This semester, UHA Cleveland initiatives have included the UHA Cleveland Podcast, a virtual roundtable discussion focused on exploring racial and economic health disparities through the lens of COVID-19, and a partnership with the Cuyahoga County Board of Health called The Women’s Health Initiative. UHA Cleveland’s main goal is to help solve “grassroots” issues that contribute to health disparities present in the community and engage students toward public health efforts.
All students are encouraged to attend the event March 22 to learn more about the organization. Catering from Bon Appétit will be provided.
