Join the Office of Multicultural Affairs for the 30th annual Unity Banquet and Scholarship Benefit Friday, May 1, at 12:30 p.m.
The annual Unity Banquet and Scholarship Benefit celebrates the academic accomplishments of underrepresented students and graduating seniors at Case Western Reserve University. Through the office’s partnership with Enrollment Management and its sponsors, the event has also served as an opportunity to recognize future students and CWRU community partners.
Though students, faculty and staff are not able to gather for the event as originally planned, members of the community can acknowledge students’ accomplishments through this virtual event.
In addition to presenting various scholarships and awards, the office will host senior reflection speaker, Akinola Akinbote, with a speech titled “Climbing My El Capitan. Kintsugi, & Learning to Say My Name.”
