Undergraduate students named winners of the spring 2021 Schubert@Intersections research competition

The Schubert Center has selected the winners of the spring 2021 Schubert@Intersections research competition, which recognizes undergraduate projects focused on children and adolescents. 

The following students were recognized for their research:

  • First place: Anna Marie Giubileo for “ACEs & Adulthood: How Adverse Childhood Experiences Impact Individuals Later in Life”
  • Second place: Zahin Islam for “Prognosis Associated Tumor Immune Signatures in Pediatric Neuroblastoma”
  • Third place: Nehal Methi for “Investigating Adverse Childhood Experiences and Schizotypy in Adults”
  • Honorable mention: Katherine Glaess, Olivia Love and Noelle Nelson for “Reusable Pediatric Pulse Oximeter”
  • Honorable mention: Amanda Beck for “Old Versus New Version of a Test of Articulation: Similarities and Differences”
