Undergraduate mock trial team takes home awards from regional tournament

Undergraduate mock trial teamCase Western Reserve University undergraduate mock trial team recently sent two squads to represent the university at the American Mock Trial Association’s State College Regional Tournament.

At the tournament, the A Team earned a bid to the Opening Round Championship Series, and the B team held its own in difficult trials.

Ren Weeden, a sophomore biomedical engineering and political science major, won an Outstanding Attorney award, earning the top attorney spot in each defense trial. Next month, CWRU Mock Trial will compete in the Open Round Championship Series in Lancaster, Penn.
