This year, six Case Western Reserve University students participated in the annual International Latin Translation Exam administered by the Classical Association of the Middle West and South. Three of the students won prizes.
Luke Mosca won a cash prize ($100) at the Intermediate Level, the highest level of award. Mosca was No. 5 in the nation among the 98 college and university students who took this exam.
Cason Willman won a cash prize ($250) at the Advanced Level, finishing No. 2 in the nation among 90 college and university students who took this exam.
Elie Aoun won a book award, the second highest level of award, earned by only a handful of the 90 students who took this exam across the country.
