UCITE to host “Getting Your Class off to a Good Start” Aug. 28

Research has shown that paying extra attention to these first few weeks of classes can establish extremely helpful patterns for both students and faculty.

At the next University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education (UCITE) session of this fall—in addition to suggestions on how to get more engagement from your students and how to encourage them to read and write better—we will also provide tips on things you could do to make the semester go more smoothly and address any concerns that you might have.

Join us for that discussion on Thursday, Aug. 28, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Herrick Room, which is on the ground floor of the Allen Building (at the corner of Euclid and Adelbert) immediately on the left if you enter through the Euclid Avenue revolving door.

Pizza lunch and sodas will be provided at this session. To help us estimate the amount to order, please let us know if you plan to attend this session by replying to this email or sending a message to ucite@case.edu.
