Faculty members often have questions about how to assist students who express a need for accommodations in the classroom, but lack a formal plan to do so.
At the next University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education session, Grace Clifford, associate director of Disability Resources, and Sara Gaines, accommodations coordinator of Disability Resources, will review available accommodations, resources related to assistive technology and accessible communications, and share best practices in connecting students to Disability Resources as a critical resource for their personal and academic success.
This session will be held Thursday, Oct. 13, from noon to 1 p.m in the Allen Memorial Medical Library’s Herrick Room (use Adelbert Road doors).
