UCITE seminar: “Planning and Facilitating Group Learning Activities”

The University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education (UCITE) will host a seminar titled “Planning and Facilitating Group Learning Activities” today (Nov. 13) from 12:45 to 2 p.m. in the Allen Memorial Medical Library’s Herrick Room.

In this interactive session, attendees will practice setting and executing goals for group learning activities in a safe, experimental setting.

John Paul Stephens, associate professor of organizational behavior, will facilitate the discussion.

During this event, participants will contribute group learning strategies. Attendees should come prepared to discuss why they think group learning suits their course content and their students’ needs.
