The University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education (UCITE) will host a session on how the Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship can assist faculty in making a more robust learning environment for students.
The UCITE seminar will feature a discussion about how to incorporate digital tools in teaching as well as the collaborations between UCITE and the Freedman Center that are available for faculty.
The seminar will cover:
- What digital scholarship is;
- Using text analysis;
- Making digital texts; and
- How to introduce media and digital scholarship in the classroom.
Amanda Koziura, digital learning & scholarship librarian, will facilitate the session, which will take place today (Nov. 15) from 11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. in the Herrick Room at Allen Memorial Medical Library.
A pizza lunch will be provided.
