UCITE has openings for mentor TAs

The University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education (UCITE) has several available graduate student employment opportunities.

Mentor TA (MTAs) – 8 positions
A mentor TA is a limited opportunity position (~10 hours per semester) in which the successful applicant helps to facilitate small-group learning at both the graduate and undergraduate TA training sessions. These sessions take place before the start of the spring and fall semesters. MTAs will also be required to help set up the training venue in advance, sign in participants, and break the room down afterwards. No teaching experience required but attendance at a previous GTA session would be helpful.

In addition, they will co-facilitate the program at each of these events. The candidate will also co-facilitate UNIV401, which is offered in-person in the spring, summer and fall semesters.
