UCITE Fridays: “What You Need to Know Before Teaching a Course”

Each Friday, the University Center for Innovation in Technology and Education (UCITE) offers Case Western Reserve University instructors (faculty, staff, postdocs and graduate students) opportunities to gather in an interdisciplinary space for conversations of pedagogical discovery and for the exchange of ideas.

The next UCITE Fridays event will focus on the topic “What You Need to Know Before Teaching a Course.” It will be held Oct. 25 from 11:40 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Herrick Room in the Allen Memorial Medical Library Building.

Jenny Hadingham, instructor and UCITE associate director, and Jenna Bagley, graduate teaching assistant for UNIV401, will lead this interactive session aimed at unearthing some of the fundamental knowledge that will help instructors navigate the start of their teaching careers.

Pizza will be provided.

Register to attend.
