Join College of Arts and Sciences faculty members in a discussion on how rubrics can be used to provide students and faculty with meaningful assessment feedback.
Gusztav Demeter, instructor in the Department of English, will share how his use of rubrics with international students has aided student learning and improved student understanding of learning objectives. Denise Davis, lecturer in music, and Matthew Garrett, associate professor of music, will lead participants through the activity of creating or modifying an assessment rubric as a way to apply that skill to your specific class or discipline.
