Join the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship for the “Beyond Silicon Valley: Growing Entrepreneurship in Transitioning Economies” January course. “Beyond Silicon Valley” is a massive open online course developed and taught by Michael Goldberg, the Veale Institute’s executive director, for CWRU and is taken by students around the world. Lectures will be livestreamed as part of the Open Class series.
During this January semester, there will be eight classes all community members can attend:
- Jan. 12 at noon: The Growth of an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem (course intro)
- Jan. 13 at noon: The Role of Government
- Jan. 14 at noon: The Role of Philanthropy
- Jan. 16 at 9:00 a.m.: The Role of Intermediary Organizations
- Jan. 19 at noon: Anchor Institutions
- Jan. 20 at noon: Seed Accelerators
- Jan. 21 at noon: Angel Investors
- Jan. 26 at noon: Venture Capital
