Trygve Dolber, assistant professor of psychiatry and internal medicine at University Hospitals and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, was recently featured on an episode of Cardi-OH Radio’s podcast, “The Heart-Mind-Body Connection: Mental Health and Cardiometabolic Conditions,” for a discussion about the intersection of mental health, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.

Dolber gave insight on ways to identify mental health issues in patients, start conversations about a patient’s mental health, and overcome mental health stigma. 

Cardio-OH (Ohio Cardiovascular & Diabetes Health Collaborative) is a collaborative effort among health care professionals at Ohio’s medical schools who strive to improve treatment accessibility and outcomes and put an end to health disparities in Ohio.
