University employees can take a four-week meditation series at University Hospitals Case Medical Center for a discounted rate of $40. Two class series are offered: Meditation 101 and Meditation 102–The Next Step.
The novice Meditation 101 class will be held Wednesdays, May 2-23, from 5 to 6 p.m. in Bolwell Health Center B, or Fridays, May 4-25, from noon to 1 p.m. in Wearn Building 109.
Meditation 102 expands on skills gained in Meditation 101, including increasing understanding, awareness and practice and gaining emotional, mental, spiritual and physical benefits. It will be offered on Mondays, May 7-28, from noon to 1 p.m. in Bolwell Health Center B.
The classes also are open to the public for $60.
