Robert Clarke Brown, treasurer of Case Western Reserve University, was recently appointed to the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB).
More than 100 people applied for the position, with only six selected.
Brown officially stepped into the role Oct. 1 and will serve a four-year term, which will conclude Sept. 30, 2020.
