First Year Cleveland and ideastream will host a film screening of the short film Toxic: A Black Woman’s Story Wednesday, April 19, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Noble Commons at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences.
The film explores how racism, toxic stress and birth outcomes are intertwined.
A panel discussion will follow the screening.
