This Friday, Oct. 11, Philip “Phil” E. Orbanes will take students on a journey through time to discover how games came to be, why they flourish and what you can gain by applying their secrets. The talk will take place from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in Kelvin Smith Library’s O’Neill Reading Room, 2nd floor.
About the speaker
Phil E. Orbanes (CIT ’70) is a game designer, founding partner of Winning Moves Games in Danvers, Massachusetts and former senior vice president for Parker Brothers.
Also on Friday, Kelvin Smith Library will host an Open House from 1 to 4 p.m. will be on the 1st floor with games tailored around the library’s resources and services.
Refreshments, prize drawings, tours and more will be available.
