“Tools to Communicate in Politically Charged Interactions”

A presentation to assist the CWRU community in engaging in effective dialogue in and outside the classroom titled “Tools to Communicate in Politically Charged Interactions” will be held Monday, Sept. 28, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The event will feature Robert L. Solomon, Esq, vice president for CWRU’s Office for Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity.

As we approach what could be a contentious election and continue to deal with protests across the country and increased focus and discussion on race and racial injustice issues, this presentation will provide guidance and tools on effective dialogue. Members of the CWRU community are invited to participate in this engaging remote presentation, which will include small group discussions and a Q&A segment.

Register for the event on CampusGroups.

The CWRU Office for Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity, Undergraduate Student Government, Graduate Student Association and Sunrise CWRU will sponsor the event.
