Tony Simmons, former CEO of McIlhenney Brands (Tabasco): “150+ years as a family business”

Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to join the Center for Family Business to hear from Tony Simmons, a fifth-generation family member and the seventh CEO to run McIlhenney Brands, the privately held company that makes Tabasco Brand Pepper Sauce.

Simmons will give a talk Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 7:30 to 9:15 a.m. at the John S. Knight Center (77 East Mill St., Akron).

Tabasco Brand Pepper Sauce is exported to more than 195 countries and bottled in 22 languages. Simmons and the generations before him have led one of the country’s oldest and largest family-owned and operated businesses. Simmons will share their family’s story and the “secret sauce” behind their 150+ years of success.

Registration costs $50 per person (but is free for members of the Center for Family Business). Get a ticket to the event.
