Tobacco cessation resources available to students

University Health and Counseling Services offers resources to students looking to quit smoking.

Tobacco cessation appointments

University Health and Counseling Services has tobacco cessation appointments available for students. Appointments include 30 minutes each with a behavioral health specialist and physician.

Readiness to quit, strategies for abstinence and medication support will be assessed. Students may be eligible for free nicotine replacement medications.

LivingFree program

The LivingFree program—from the university’s partners at SelfHelpWorks—is a multimedia presentation designed to give individuals a similar experience to a live class. This 10-session program can be completed in as few as four weeks.

To start the SelfHelpWorks program, send an email to counseling@case.edu. The University Health and Counseling Services team will then register you and email the login information.
