The Case Western Reserve University Department of Music and Church of the Covenant will present “Enlightenment” on Friday, April 12, and Saturday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m. at Church of the Covenant.
The concerts will feature the fifth of Joseph Haydn’s late six masses Schöpfungsmesse, or “Creation Mass,” and Handel’s Organ Concerto, op.4, no.1.
Each performance will be introduced by a pre-concert conversation, which will provide audience members with information related to the development of this masterpiece.
Tickets are free for students and $8 for general admission, and can be purchased at the door, from the Department of Music at 216.368.2400, or from Church of the Covenant at 216.421.0482.
