The 2012 International Dinner will be held Saturday, March 31, in Thwing Center. A reception will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. in Thwing Atrium, with the dinner following in the ballroom from 6 to 8 p.m. Entertainment and dancing will take place after the dinner in Thwing Atrium until midnight.
Now in its 40th year, the Annual International Dinner has grown to include approximately 120 volunteers who prepare and serve food and provide performances that are representative of their home countries for about 350 guests. Case Western Reserve University administrators and staff traditionally join in to help serve food to guests.
Those who would like a guaranteed seat at the dinner should plan on volunteering. Volunteers can purchase tickets in advance before sales are open to the entire campus community. Volunteer forms are available online and in the International Student Services Office. Whether you cook, serve food, help set up before or clean up afterward, your assistance is greatly appreciated.
Tickets—$10 for undergraduate students, $15 for graduate students and others—are on sale in International Student Services (Tomlinson Hall 143). This is a sell-out event, so buy your tickets early.
