Three titles updated in [U]Tech Software Center

CES EduPack, SAS JMP Pro and PyMOL have been updated in the University Technology ([U]Tech) Software Center. Each of these titles is available to all Case Western Reserve University students, faculty and staff at no additional cost.

To install any of the software listed:

  1. Visit the Software Center website and click “I Agree” to accept the end-user license agreement.
  2. Find the appropriate title in the software title list and click on the preferred operating system icon.
  3. Follow the instructions on the following page.

[U]Tech recommends removing any previous versions before installing the upgrade.

CES EduPack

CES EduPack has been upgraded to version 2019 (title in software list: “CES EduPack 2019”) with a new annual license expiring Aug. 31, 2020.

CES EduPack supports materials teaching throughout the curriculum and also features resources and enhancements to prepare students for industry by engaging them with the world of materials engineering, science and design.

SAS JMP Pro

SAS JMP Pro has been upgraded to version 14.2 (title in software list: “SAS JMP Pro 14.2”) with a new annual license expiring July 31, 2020.

As the pro version of JMP statistical discovery software, JMP Pro offers all the capabilities of JMP plus advanced features for more sophisticated analysis, including predictive modeling and cross-validation techniques. Users can harness the power and speed of the supercomputer on their desk to explore and understand data in an easy-to-use interface.

PyMOL

PyMOL has been upgraded to version 2.3.2 (title in software list: “PyMOL AxPyMOL v2.3.2”) with a new annual license expiring July 28, 2020.

PyMOL is a powerful and comprehensive molecular visualization product for rendering and animating 3-D molecular structures, making it applicable across most of the physical and life sciences.
